If you look at Craigmils site and follow the index to Sweet Pea then Pony truck
http://www.carnoustie47.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm
You will see the difference when compared with the book, I am going to take a look at both designs before finalising the build.

Hi Jim
How does it differ from the book? I was planning on following the design in the book and am open to better ideas.

For those interested in the 0-4-2 design I found an article on Andrew Mitchell's pony truck in Model Engineer vol 162 No 3850 2-15 June 1989.

Just completed the marking out of the frames.
Because the frames were laser cut I added this wood insert to enable the centre to be found. The red thing is a plastic tile wedge

Hi Ferd
I've decide to go for the 0-4-2 layout you can see I've marked the cutout on the RH end of the mainframe.

I purchased the book and the laser cut frames.
Now starting the marking out. I havn't used imperial fractions for over 30 years so its a relearning process.
