Personally, I am not so keen on these new side tanks for Dougal. Too bad they didn't stay with the original sloped ones!

Here is a pic I was sent of the real thing, it has had the water tanks replaced so they no longer have a sloping front.

DOUGAL IS READY!

My 4 3/4" gauge Dougal is complete and ready for a first run in the spring.
Weighs in at about 80lbs.
Coal fired. 80psi operating pressure.
1 1/4" bore cylinders and 1 7/8" stroke.
Slip eccentric valve gear.
It was fun to build, and I hope, fun to drive!
