The builder, now retired, was a life long owner of his own machine shop and therefore is a skilled builder. He previously built and continues to operate a pair of road diesels which he built prior to this locomotive. The engine for sale is powered by a gasoline engine driving a hydraulic motor. It was scaled up from an HO model of the same locomotive. It has been run for only a few hours at our track and is essentially in “like new” condition. It is unpainted to allow you to paint it in your favourite road’s colours.
The asking price is $5,000 U.S. plus shipping costs. It is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
