It would be fun to see - my concerns are its pulling ability and the castings are really costly through Reeves. Nothing against Reeves, I think its due to the intricacy of the castings and at the same time it makes it more challenging to scratch build.

I have seen one of this running as a 7 1/4" model and the motion work is fun to watch

Nice find. Reeves sells the castings to the "locomotion" which is very similar in 7.25" gauge. Always liked the look of it.
