Another great use of the features of today's Web .. I will let Dale King speak to his neat offering ....

============================================

Greetings,

My name is Dale King and I have been a live steam enthusiast since 1990.  I grew up in California and visited around two dozen live steam tracks on the West coast.  However, I ended up moving to the East coast around a year ago and found it a chore to locate live steam tracks.  For that reason, I have developed a web page that is a geographical map of live steam tracks for all to use.  This new live steam track map is http://www.livesteamtracks.info.  I welcome all questions, comments and updates to the content of this web page.  Please visit it and feel free to link to it.

This web page uses Google Maps.  You can select from the railroads within the pulldown menu located at the top of the screen.  When you select a railroad, the map centers on that railroad’s location.  Clicking on the link will open a new page with the track’s web page.  If you click on the “Zoom In” button, it will take you to the satellite map for that track, if it’s location is known.
