Hi Tom
Thanks for the photos - wow the diesel scales so nicely I had no idea of its size until I saw the pic with the people in it. Looks like an incredible railroad.
cheers Ferd

Hi Tom
I love that SR&RL Railcar. I want one - the perfect single rider vehicle for track exploration.

Spring has sprung and Jack has been busy with track work. I got over last weekend and saw the finished TT. Enclosed are a couple of pics.

The snow melted enough to get some pics of the new TT at EOT. Not ready for service but closer. Once the frost goes out it will get completed.

Here is a pic I found in my reference library of a sweet little turntable. Micro Footprint turntable. Basically a lazy susan for skips.

Hi Mike,
I am at Jack's so i called him in to show picture. He said he remembers and Hi back. Is winter slowing your construction down? Might be harder to move dirt when frozen!!!(VBG).

Hi Mike
it would not be a Heywood line without it. I always love the little turntables that the industrial plants used to use to spin skips on the spot.

Hi Tom:
Nice work. I'm going to have a "portable" table at the "head of rail" as I go.
I'm thinking about putting a house in the otherwise empty corner at the back of the shop. Jack will know where it is. Here's a drawing and a photo of the spot.
Say Hi to the boys.

It's hard to back our bus # 3 for a long distance so a turntable would be nice at both ends of the line. We started to build one 44 inches long to turn the bus (only) at EOT near High Point. This will be a temporary one till the track gets to Ridgeview where we hope to have a 16 footer. Enclosed is some pics of the start. Some winter fun on Sunday when it was cold outside. Since I took these, Jack has move the TT into place at temporary EOT. I will get some pics this weekend while I am over. More later.
