I got to spend 3 days in the shop helping Mel. We got the roof latch in, handrails and end railings on. The little z shaped brackets under they ends of the roof walk. Ladders were built & painted but not on yet. Getting close to the official rollout.

Hi Tom
The caboose is fully loaded - now you just need to building the SR&RL Parlour car with fully functional wet bar.

Looking great! I remember riding inside one of your passenger cars .. it was a bit claustrophobic!

Thanks guys for the nice words. Not much has been done on the caboose since those pics were taken. I haven't been able to get over for a while so it awaits my return.

Wow - great photo - the backdrop looks like a mural. Amazing job on the caboose.

Ferd, Yes it has. Mel got 2 coats of paint on it these last 2 days as the weather has been great, Now we will work on the end rails and ladders, a hand brake inside and a couple of seats. Might be in revenue service by X-mas.

Hi Tom
That caboose is looking great. What a cool project to be working on. Looks like all those hours of hard work are really paying off in a stunning end result.
Cheers Ferd
