More detail photographs of the Shay. One of the interesting features is the steam driven water pump.

4.75" Narrow Gauge Shay part 1

Stewart Lumber company presents their 2 cylinder T boiler alcohol fired Shay. This is another fine locomotive built by Tom at the GHLS (Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers). Although rumour has it that an alcohol fired locomotive in this gauge may not be the most efficient at raising steam. Non the less it is a Shay, and all Shay locomotives are a pleasure to see.
